The Team
Lisa Jespersen, RMT
Lisa opened Mindful Thyme Wellness Centre in January 2018 as a solo practitioner after working with Physiotherapists, Naturopathic Doctors and Chiropractors in multi-disciplinary clinics. She began her practice treating many clients who had suffered motor vehicle accidents, which brought on an interest in chronic pain, which lead to interest in concussion and post concussion syndrome. 8 years, a lot of research and many courses later Lisa has learned to help manage concussion and post concussion syndrome along with her clients primary health care team to achieve rehabilitation.
Lisa utilizes educating clients along with many different assessment, treatment and home exercise techniques to achieve the goals you are looking to meet whether you are having aches and pains or a complicated injury like
post-concussion syndrome.
Since welcoming other RMT's into the clinic Lisa has began a mentorship program to teach and train RMT's to have a successful practice while also providing the highest standards of practice to their clients.
Lisa completed her Diploma in Massage Therapy at Georgian College in 2013 and was Registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario in February 2014.
Since beginning practice Lisa has continued studies in concussion rehabilitation, cupping massage, Dynamic Tape, Dolphin Neurostim and many different types of treatment techniques. She has been lucky to have had a few great mentors who have shared so much of their knowledge. Lisa enjoys connecting with other health care practitioners and exchanging ideas for new views on rehabilitation.
