When I was a year and half into my career I was lifting up a massage table at the clinic with a client on it. The client adjusted themselves and unfortunately this jarred my low back and caused an injury to a disc in my lumbar spine. The Physiotherapist I was working with who was also my mentor at the time taught me these exercises when I hurt my back. Thanks to these exercises I was back to work fairly shortly and have been able to maintain a pain free back since using these exercises to maintain my back.
