Registered Massage Therapy
When you have an appointment with a Registered Massage Therapist you can expect a full assessment of your health history and any pain or injuries you are experiencing. Your RMT will develop a treatment plan including massage therapy techniques and home exercises to meet your treatment goals.
Lisa is trained in Swedish massage, myofascial techniques, Joint manipulations, active and passive treatment techniques, muscle energy technique, nerve compression therapies and techniques, remedial exercise, hydrotherapy, and various other advanced massage therapy techniques.

Lisa offers education and one on one treatment plans to help manage concussion and persistent post-concussive symptoms.
Lisa has studied concussion and persistent post-concussive symptoms since 2014. This education has helped her have a broad understanding of how to manage concussion symptoms and help her patients get back to living and enjoying their life.
Lisa will work with you to develop a treatment plan, offer referrals to address symptoms out of the scope of Massage Therapy and educate you about your condition and what to expect.

Lisa is currently completing a Yoga Teachers certification so she can add yoga therapy to the movement therapy she utilizes in her treatment plans.
Meditation can be incorporated into your treatment.
If you would like to incorporate meditation into your massage therapy treatment please speak to Lisa at the beginning of your appointment about options.
I offer pre-recorded meditations you can relax and listen to during your treatment instead of music or I offer singing bowl meditation at certain times of day as well. I use a mixture of crystal and metal singing bowls and instruments for this part of treatment.
